Miranda Hart is one of Britain’s most popular writers, comedians and actresses. She is best known for her hugely successful self-penned sitcom Miranda, which ran for three series and two specials on BBC One. Over its run the series won numerous awards and enjoyed an average of over nine million viewers.
She was BAFTA nominated for her much loved role ‘Chummy’ in the critically acclaimed period drama Call the Midwife, and made her Hollywood debut as ‘Nancy’ in action comedy blockbuster Spy, alongside Melissa McCarthy, Jude Law and Jason Statham.
In 2014, Miranda completed her first sell out stand-up arena tour My, What I Call, Live Show culminating in five shows at London’s 02. The accompanying DVD was the second highest selling stand-up DVD of the year.
She is also the author of Is It Just Me? which was Sunday Times number one bestseller for 13 weeks, and The Best of Miranda which received similar success. Her third book, Peggy and Me was released in October 2016.
