Ben joined King Bert in 2017 as a Development Producer, and has worked with a range of established and emerging writers and talent. Before joining King Bert, he spent 8 years at Carnival Films and then Lucky Giant at NBC Universal International Studios. He developed and co-produced Victorian medical comedy Quacks by James Wood for BBC Two, starring Mathew Baynton, Rory Kinnear, Tom Basden and Rupert Everett. He developed and produced Homeboys by Pete Jackson, a Non TX studio sitcom pilot for BBC One directed by Emmy award winning Michael Lembeck.
He’s produced several comedy series for Radio 4 including award-winning Richard Marsh: Love and Sweets, and 2 series of award-nominated comedy drama Love in Recovery starring Sue Johnston, John Hannah, Rebecca Front, Eddie Marsan, Paul Kaye and Julia Deakin.
